Where to begin! The wedding ceremony. The ceremony was stunning. Sasha, the bride, who initially hoped to be wed outside in the Villa St. Clair garden, changed her mind due to the lack of sun on her wedding day. Needless to say, we were so happy, and we’re sure she is too, with the outcome of the ceremony. The altar was breathtaking. Our wonderful and talented florist, Emily put together an asymmetrical floral arrangement, composed of roses, hydrangeas and orchids, on a metal frame that we had dressed in linens. Above the frame were a number of lit grapevine balls hanging at all different levels. They paired beautifully with our stained glass! Bridesmaids and groomsmen were dressed in grey so the purple, asymmetrical flower arrangement was the perfect pop of color and the most perfect way to incorporate Sasha and Will’s color scheme.
Sasha looked stunning in her open back lace wedding gownThe couple shares a magical moment at the altar after saying “I do!”We adored the finger paint thumbprint tree that Will and Sasha set up for the guests prior to the ceremony. It was a cute and fun idea that symbolized the joining of two families.I’m sure its safe to assume that succulents are currently trending, and we LOVE it! The groomsmen’s boutonnieres were made of a purple orchid that was laid on top of a succulent. They were well paired and ad a bit of an edge to the elegant orchid, making it easier for the men to not feel as though they’re losing a bit of their masculinity by having to wear a flower.
The reception was entertaining and lively, to say the least! Will and Sasha hired DJ Kelly Jordan who kept the crowd dancing all night. They also used the hashtag #willsasha2015 to be able to capture special moments from the night. Something we especially loved at the reception were Will and Sasha’s personalized glasses that served a dual purpose as heartfelt favors and glasses for their drinks throughout the night. Talk about an economical, yet personal favor idea! At the end of the night, all the guests were thrilled that they were able to take home something to remember Will and Sasha’s special day.
We loved everything about #willsasha2015! The Villa St. Clair family wants to wish them nothing but a happy a prosperous life together full of love, laughs, and unforgettable memories.
