With the cool fall air rolling in and the first day of fall upon us, you have to make sure your wedding follows accordingly! Say goodbye to the frozen sweet treats and start falling in love with the changing leaves and deep, rich colors.

Burgundy and gold and yellow, oh my! As the leaves begin to change colors, you can use nature as your wedding color scheme inspiration, with burgundy dresses and gold accents. Roses, carnations, and gerbera daisies in warm reds and oranges will incorporate those fall colors in your bouquets, and you can add some succulents for a more natural look.

Now I don’t know about you, but when I think of fall, I think of warm apple cider and a toasty fire to cozy up next to. One way to incorporate this into your wedding is to have an apple cider mixed signature drink for guests to sip on, and a safe bonfire area for guests to roast marshmallows and gather around to chat. The nice thing about this idea is that marshmallows and firewood are easy to come by, and your guests are sure to love it! Throw some wooden boxes around the area with cozy blankets inside and you’re sure to have a hard time pulling everyone away!

One other way to incorporate fall into your wedding is to use leaves galore! They’re not hard to find once they begin to fall off of the trees and you can use them everywhere. Instead of flower petals, have your flower girls throw leaves down the aisle, and add them around on the cake table, the gift table, and the centerpieces to bring it all together.
